This is a standard size hand drum. This drum also has a big drum sound. It's sounds range from very deep to a middle tone.One sided drum of elkhide and maplewood, laced with sinew and wrapped with deerskin. Mark calls these drums Four Winds because of the lacing to honor the directions.

Mark Barfoot is a top American Indian Drum Maker. His talent and experience is evident in the sound and quality of Turtle Island Drums. Each drum is beautiful, unique and has its own feel, sound and vibration.
Mark’s drums are made of elk hide, Maplewood, sinew and deerskin. They are laced with one piece of sinew and wrapped with deerskin.
The back of the drum is made in a traditional way to honor the four directions. The beaters are made of hardwood and wool. Mark gives a artists’ lifetime guarantee on his drums. You may send the drum back for repair if needed. |
